When Looking For Soccer Balls

Soccer is one of the most famous sports played around the world. In some countries, soccer balls are also well known as footballs. In general, soccer balls are made of rubber or leather.  The soccer balls which are used in the professional international matches are manufactured to meet the requirements of the Federation International de Football Association (FIFA).

A soccer ball is manufactured with a combination of rubber, polyurethane (PU), nylon and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The most expensive and the most excellent PU soccer balls feel like the leather and are solid, dense, water resistant and durable.

The basic rubber made soccer balls generally cost the least. On the other hand, synthetic leather made soccer balls are found to be the most costly ones. Rubber and nylon soccer balls usually show great value for that reason as they cost the least amount and also last for an extended period of time.

However, rubber and nylon soccer fall short of the sense of match soccer balls. They prove to be just the purpose of training and practice. Generally, there are 3 kinds of soccer balls. Match soccer balls that are used in the expert international matches usually meet the FIFA rules and comes up with the logo of the organization on the soccer ball. Hence, these are considered to be the most expensive kind of soccer balls available on the market.

There are middle range soccer balls which are particularly used in competitions held in high schools and colleges. For the amateurs, training and recreational balls are found to be the least expensive. Most of the soccer balls come tagged in 3 different sizes, including 3, 4 or 5.

The size 3 soccer balls are usually designed for the use of the beginners. Size 3 soccer balls are commonly given to the kids under the age of 8 years. A size 3 soccer ball is about 23 inches in perimeter and almost weights 12 ounces.

Similarly, size 4 soccer balls are developed for players between 8 to 12 years of age. A sixe 4 soccer ball usually weighs the same as the smaller soccer balls which is around 12 ounces. However, they are found to be bigger in the circumference and just about 25 inches.

The size 5 soccer balls are developed for the use of the players aged 13 years and above. These balls are prepared to match the international standard size for all the competition. Size 5 soccer ball usually weighs around 15 ounces and includes a circumference of about 28 inches.

Construction of football or soccer ball includes use of different materials, sizes, weights and types. One of the significant components of the soccer ball is the lining, the embroidery, the concealment and bladder. All of these components assist you in selecting the most ideal soccer ball.

Synthetic leather is generally used to prepare the surface of a soccer ball. There are different variations of the synthetic leather used in the soccer ball construction.
